Peer Review Process

Peer review policy:

  • It is the critical assessment of submitted manuscripts by experts who are not part of the editorial staff.
  • Each submitted article for publication is reviewed by at least two senior specialists of the concerned specialty.
  • The double blind process is strictly followed and, in certain cases, the opinion of a 3rd reviewer can also be sought.

Biannual forensic sciences and toxicology journal operates a double-blind peer-review system, where the reviewers do not know the names or affiliations of the authors and the reviewer reports provided to the authors are anonymous.

  • Language: clear and scientifically valid.
  • Study methods: appropriate, described in an easily understandable way and include relevant details on the experimental design and techniques
  • Results: clear and concise.
  • Discussion and conclusion: explore the significance of the results of the work and reasonable.
  • References: Harvard system.
  • Manuscripts that do not follow these criteria will be rejected.

All submissions are peer-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers using double-blind policy through an editorial board composed of experts in both forensic medicine and toxicology.
